We are located in Bangalore, and like many others in this city, we spend our time working with technology. It’s not a very big operation, just a group of us who know our way around systems and software. The office is pretty basic. We have our desks, our chairs, and a small area where we keep the water cooler. Sometimes the city gets very busy and the noise from the street carries into the building, but we just put our headphones on and keep going. We don't really go for the fancy office life. It is more about sitting down and solving whatever problem is in front of us that day. We have our good days and our bad days, especially when the servers decide to act up or the internet gets flaky. Lunch is usually a quick affair, often something brought from home or picked up from a nearby cart. We talk about the usual things like the weather or the latest cricket scores while we take a break. It is a very normal way to spend a day. We have been in Bangalore for a while now and we like the rhythm of the place. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just keeping the systems running and making sure our clients have what they need from us. It is a simple, steady job and we are fine with that.
