Duchess

Duchess is located at 846/A in the first stage of Indira Nagar. It’s a well-known area, but our little spot is quite grounded. We aren't trying to be one of those high-end places with more style than substance. The building we’re in has been around for a while, and we’ve made ourselves at home here. Inside, it’s a bit of a mix of things we’re working on and finished items waiting to go out. We don't have a huge staff, just a couple of people who know the ropes. Most days are spent sorting through stock or talking to people who walk in. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we do get busy when things pile up. We don't spend money on big glossy signs or anything like that. We’d rather just keep the lights on and the work moving. Indira Nagar can be quite loud and trendy, but we try to keep our space feeling a bit more personal. It’s not corporate at all. If the phone rings, one of us just picks it up. We don't have a script for how we talk to people. We just tell them what we have and when it will be ready. It’s a practical way to spend the day. We like being part of the street here and seeing the regulars pass by every morning. It is just a normal shop run by normal people.
