You’ll find us at number 140 in the 3rd Block of S I City, out in Nagarbhavi. It’s a bit away from the main city center, which is nice because it’s a bit quieter. Doric Innovation Studio started because we wanted a space to actually build things and try out new ideas. We call it a studio, but it’s really just a workspace filled with gadgets and computers. We spend most of our time here trying to figure out how to make things work better. Nagarbhavi is a good place for that. It’s got a more relaxed vibe than places like Koramangala or Indiranagar. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we’ve got everything we need inside. We’re a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything. One day I might be doing paperwork, and the next I’m helping with a design or a technical problem. We don’t have a boss in a suit telling us what to do every minute. We just look at the list of things that need doing and get to it. It’s a very practical way of working. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Bangalore. We just want to do good work that we can be proud of when we head home for the day. It is a humble setup, but it works for us.
