We are located in Jayanagar, at 701/48. Doohikey Pvt Ltd is a small operation, and we like it that way. The office is tucked into a residential-looking block, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on a main commercial strip. We spend our time working on various projects, mostly sitting at desks with a lot of different components spread out. It’s the kind of place where you might find a half-disassembled gadget next to a coffee mug. We don’t have a formal dress code or anything like that. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. The space is a bit cramped because we keep adding more equipment and storage for our projects. There is a small window that looks out onto the street, and we sometimes watch the kids playing or people walking their dogs during our breaks. We handle everything ourselves, from the technical side to the paperwork and even the cleaning. It’s not a glamorous corporate life, but it gives us the freedom to work on what we want. Sometimes we stay late when we’re close to finishing something, and other times we head out early if the work is caught up. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere overall. We just focus on getting the little things right and making sure the day-to-day tasks are handled without too much fuss. Being in Jayanagar makes it easy to grab a snack when the work gets a bit tedious.
