We are located in the U.P. Royal Building on Sampige Road in Malleshwaram. It’s on the second floor at the 4th Cross. This part of town is always full of people shopping and moving around. We work on certifications and looking at how things are built or run. It’s a lot of auditing and checking boxes. At Dnv Gl, the office is usually filled with files and reports. We spend a lot of time on the computer or visiting different sites to see how they operate. It’s not the kind of job where you get your hands dirty, but it is a lot of thinking. We don't have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just do the inspections and write down what we see. The office is fairly quiet because everyone is usually concentrated on their reading. Sometimes we have tea and talk about the local news. Malleshwaram has a lot of history, and we like being in this old building. It has a bit of character that you don’t get in those new glass towers. We don’t try to sound more important than we are. We just provide a second pair of eyes on projects. It’s a steady kind of life here. If you come by, the stairs are a bit narrow, but we are right there on the second floor. It’s a bit cramped with all the paperwork, but we manage just fine.
