Divya Advertising Agency has been here on 15th Main Road in Subramanya Nagar for some time now. We are at number 201. It’s a decent-sized space, mostly filled with computers and samples of old work we’ve done. We don’t do those big TV commercials you see; it’s more about helping local people get their names out there. Maybe a flyer or a banner for a shop opening. It gets busy during the festival seasons when everyone wants to put up signs. The street outside is usually full of parked scooters. I’ve been working in advertising in some way or another for years, and this agency is just my way of keeping at it. We don't have a receptionist or anything. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. Sometimes the printers act up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them instead of designing. It’s part of the job. We try to keep things simple and clear. No big fancy meetings or presentations here. We just sit down, figure out what needs to be printed or posted, and get to it. The walls are covered in color charts and paper samples. It’s a bit messy, but it’s a creative kind of mess. People in the neighborhood know us by now. We just do the work as it comes in and try to stay organized enough to meet the deadlines. It's a small shop, but we get the job done.
