Divine Engineering Works

Bommasandra is a very active place for anyone working with their hands. Divine Engineering Works is located at number 42 in the Bommasandra Industrial Area, not far from Pankod Naka in the Gheekanta section. It is mostly about the sound of metal hitting metal here. You get used to the smell of oil and iron shavings after a few days on the job. We do not have a big, shiny sign or anything corporate like that. Most people find us because they know the area well or they have been coming to this part of the industrial estate for years. The mornings are usually the busiest time when the new jobs come in and the floor gets crowded. We spend a lot of time looking at metal parts and trying to figure out how to fix things that have worn down. Our floor is always a bit messy with scraps and tools lying around, but we know where everything is. It is not a place where anyone wears a suit; we wear clothes that are meant to get dirty. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside for a bit until the machines can start again. The tea stall at the corner is where we get our news. It is a simple setup at 42 Bommasandra, and we have been in this spot long enough to know the rhythm of the whole neighborhood.
