Disk Computers

Our shop is tucked away in Banashankari 3rd Stage, specifically over in Hoysala Nagar on the 1st Cross. Most people around here use the theaters as landmarks, so if you’re near Eshwari or Kamakhya, you’re basically right there. We’ve been at Disk Computers for quite a while now. It’s not a massive showroom with glass walls or anything; it’s more of a workspace where we actually get things done. You’ll usually find us surrounded by parts and screens. The neighborhood is okay, though parking can be a bit of a headache when a big movie lets out at Kamakhya. We try to keep things simple. If someone has a computer issue, they just bring it in and we take a look. No fancy reception desks or uniforms here. We just wear what’s comfortable and focus on the work. It gets a bit dusty with all the fans running, but that’s part of the job I suppose. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, with new shops coming and going, but we’re still here at number 3120. It’s a decent walk from the main road, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the junction. We usually have the radio playing or just the sound of someone typing. It’s a straightforward life running a computer place in this part of Bangalore. We don’t overcomplicate things; we just show up and start working on whatever is on the bench that day.
