Bvk Iyengar Road is always a whistle of activity, and we are right in the middle of it at number 221. Digit Computers has been our thing for a long time. It’s a small shop, honestly, but we pack a lot into it. Dealing with tech in this part of town means you see everything. We get the old machines that should have been retired a decade ago and the newest gear that someone dropped on their way home. We don't put on airs here. The floor might need a sweep more often than it gets one, and the shelves are a bit disorganized, but we know our business. It’s mostly about solving problems that frustrate people. A lot of folks come in pretty stressed because their data is missing or their internet isn't connecting. We just sit them down and get to work. It’s noisy outside with the traffic on Rt St, but inside we just focus on the hardware. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, and that’s the best part of being a local shop. You know the people around you. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. We just have our tools and our experience. It's a living, and we enjoy the challenge of a tough repair. If you need us, we're the ones with the window full of monitors and a pile of boxes by the door. It’s not much, but it’s our place and we like it.
