We are over here at A/4 in the Kaveri Apartments. It is part of Selvam Estates in the New Colony area of Chrompet. If you know Chennai, you know how Chrompet can get pretty crowded during the day. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a regular space where we handle the logistics stuff for DHL Lemuir. We spend a lot of time on the phones and looking at schedules. The apartment block is okay, mostly quiet except for the usual street noise. We have been in this spot for a bit now. Most of us take the train or ride bikes to get here because parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. There is a tea stall just around the corner where we usually go when we need a break from the screens. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer months, so we keep the fans running all day long. We don't really have a big reception area or anything like that. People just come in, get their paperwork sorted, and leave. It's a practical setup. New Colony is a decent enough place to work from. We see the same faces every day, like the postman and the neighbors from the other flats. It feels more like a home than a corporate office, which is fine by us. We just focus on getting the crates and parcels where they need to go without making too much of a fuss about it.
