Our place, Devsquare (India) Pvt Ltd, is over at Koramangala 827. If you know this part of Bangalore, you know how it is. The traffic is basically a part of the job description. We’ve got a decent setup here though. It’s mostly just rows of monitors and people drinking coffee while they stare at screens. We don’t do much of that corporate talk because it just feels fake. We are just a team trying to solve problems without making a big deal out of it. The office is usually a bit cluttered with notebooks and old power strips. Koramangala 827 is easy to find if you know the landmarks but first-timers usually get lost once or twice. We spend a lot of time on the phone or in meetings that probably could have been emails. That's just how it goes. The building gets a bit hot in the afternoons but the fans do their job. We’ve got a small balcony where people go to complain about the heat. It’s a pretty simple operation. No fancy lobbies or receptionists in suits. Just us and our gear. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea stall guy knows all our orders by heart. It feels like home in a weird way even when the deadlines are pressing down on us. We just keep moving forward one day at a time until the sun goes down.
