Devina Tours & Travels is located at the Varthur Ashoka Super Market. Being inside a supermarket area means it is always noisy and there are always people moving around with bags and carts. It is a very lively place to have an office. We don't have a separate building or a quiet lobby. We are right there in the thick of the shopping crowd. It makes it easy for people to drop by while they are doing their grocery shopping or running other errands. The space we have is filled with calendars and tour itineraries pinned to whatever wall space we can find. It gets a bit cramped when more than a couple of people are inside at once, but we manage to make it work. Varthur is a busy part of town and the supermarket is a real hub for the neighborhood. We see all kinds of people every day. Some are just looking for a quick ticket and others want to talk about long trips they have been planning for years. We don't have a professional receptionist or anything like that. One of us just looks up from our desk when someone comes in the door. It’s an honest, busy way to run a business. We don't pretend to be a giant corporation. We are just a local travel spot helping folks get from one place to another while the market hums along.
