Devi Nursing Home

Finding us is usually pretty easy because we are right next to the Madivalla Canara Bank road. It is No. 100 on the 4th Cross in the 2nd Block of Koramangala. If you know that area, you know how busy the Hosur Main Road gets at almost any hour of the day. Devi Nursing Home has been a part of this neighborhood for quite a long stretch. The building itself is older, with hallways that have that specific smell of cleaning supplies and medicine that you find in places like this. We have nurses coming in for their shifts, carrying their bags and looking for a quick cup of coffee before things get started. It can be a bit chaotic when the traffic outside is backed up, which happens a lot near the bank. You hear a lot of honking while you are trying to talk. Inside, though, we try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can. There are always charts to look at and rooms that need checking. We have a lot of stairs to climb every day, which keeps everyone on their toes. It is a lot of work running a nursing home in such a crowded part of Bangalore, but it is what we do. We are just regular people trying to keep the place running and making sure everyone is okay. It is not glamorous work, but it is just our daily life.
