Our spot at Srirampuram 34 1 isn't much to look at from the street, but it is where we spend most of our daylight hours. Dev Associates has been operating from this corner for a while now. Most mornings start with someone trying to fix the old ceiling fan that clicks when it gets too hot. We have a few desks pushed against the walls and a lot of paper that seems to grow on its own. People come in and out, mostly locals who know the area well. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a few plastic chairs for anyone waiting. The window looks out over the street and you can hear the bikes going by all afternoon. Sometimes the traffic gets loud near the intersection, but we just turn up the radio a bit. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who have known each other for years. We handle the daily tasks, answer the phones, and try to keep things organized. Usually, the tea stall guy from down the road brings us something around eleven. That’s when we actually take a break. The rest of the time we are just busy with the files and making sure everything is in the right place. It is just a regular office life in a busy part of town. We like it here because it is close to everything we need, and the neighbors are friendly enough.
