Detail Designs

Detail Designs is based over at 2 Tasker Town. It’s a pretty central location and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Tasker Town is one of those older parts of the city that has its own character, and we like being part of that. Our office isn't anything fancy. It’s just a place where we sit down and work on design details for our clients. We spend a lot of time looking at small things—that’s why we’re called Detail Designs, I suppose. It’s not about big, sweeping corporate statements for us. We just care about the little bits and pieces that make a room or a piece of furniture look right. People in the neighborhood often drop in just to ask a quick question or see what we’re working on. We don't have a formal reception area, so you usually just walk straight into the workspace. It can get a bit cluttered with sketches and material swatches, but that’s how we like it. Working in Tasker Town means we are close to a lot of suppliers, which makes things easier for us. We aren't trying to be a high-end boutique; we’re just local designers who enjoy the process of making things look better. We take our work seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. It’s just us, working away at 2 Tasker Town every day, trying to get the job done right for everyone who stops by our place.
