Desai Law Inc

I run Desai Law Inc from the first floor of an old building at 31 Malleshwaram on Grover Road. Malleshwaram is one of those neighborhoods that still feels like the old Bangalore, which is why I like having my office here. We aren’t a massive law firm with hundreds of people. It is a small, local operation. When you walk up to the first floor, you will see our door. Inside, it is mostly just rows of law books and wooden desks that have been here since we opened. It is a functional space, not a showpiece. I spend a lot of my time looking over documents and meeting with people from the neighborhood. We do not have a marketing department or any of that. Usually, someone’s uncle or cousin tells them to come see us because they have been here before. We handle the usual legal stuff that people in a community need help with. I try to be direct and not use too much of that confusing legal language if I can help it. The light in the office is nice in the afternoons, and you can hear the sounds of the street below. It is a comfortable place to work. We do not try to be anything we aren’t. It is just a local law office helping out with the paperwork and problems that come our way. We have been here a while and plan to stay for a lot longer.
