Derlin Info Tech Private Limited is at No 24 on the 1st floor of the 2nd Cross in Vivekanandanagar. This part of Bangalore is quite settled, so it’s a bit different from the newer tech areas. Being on the 1st floor is convenient because we don't have to deal with many stairs or waiting for a lift. The office itself is just a regular room that we’ve filled with desks and all the stuff we need to run an info tech business. 2nd Cross is a fairly typical street for this neighborhood. We have some neighbors who are also running small businesses and some who just live here. It creates a nice mix. We don't have a big reception desk or a person waiting to greet people. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. It’s a very relaxed way to do things. We spend our days typing away and talking through whatever issues pop up. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to do, but we try to keep a normal schedule. Vivekanandanagar has everything we need nearby, so we don't have to go far for anything. We aren't trying to be a global giant or anything like that. We are just a local office doing our thing on the 2nd Cross. It’s a simple, straightforward life for us here at Derlin. The window in the back looks out onto a small tree, which is nice in the afternoon. We try to keep the place tidy but it doesn't always stay that way.
