Our office is at D 301 in Mantri Terrace Apartments. It’s just off Bannerghatta Road in the Bilekahalli area of Bangalore. If you live around here, you know the traffic on Bannerghatta Road is no joke. Most of us spend a good chunk of our morning just trying to get to the apartment complex. Once we are inside, though, it’s relatively quiet. We’ve converted the apartment into a workspace for Delmia Solutions Pvt Ltd. It still feels a bit like a home, with a kitchen area and a balcony where we sometimes take our phone calls. We have our servers and computers set up in the main rooms. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have extra equipment lying around, but we make it work. The view from the third floor isn't much, just other buildings and some trees, but it’s okay. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees. We are just a small team trying to solve problems and keep things running. We take turns making coffee or going out to get supplies from the shops nearby. It’s a steady pace of work. We don't have fancy logos on the walls or a receptionist at the door. It is just us, sitting at our desks in Bilekahalli, getting through the daily list of things to do until it is time to face the traffic again at the end of the day. It’s not flashy, just practical.
