Dell

I've been working at Dell here in Bangalore for a while now. The office is one of those big places in the city, but when you are inside, it just feels like any other workplace. Bangalore is such a huge hub for technology, and we are right in the middle of all that noise and growth. Every morning is a bit of a struggle with the traffic, which is something everyone in Bangalore complains about. Once I get to my desk, it’s all about checking emails and getting through the tasks for the day. We aren't doing anything super fancy or world-changing every single minute; it’s mostly just making sure things work the way they should. There are a lot of different teams here, and we all just try to stay on top of our own parts of the business. Lunchtime is usually when we get to relax a bit and talk about life outside of work. It’s a mix of people from all over, which is nice. Sometimes the work gets a bit repetitive, and the meetings can go on for too long, but that is just how it is in a place like this. We don't have some grand philosophy we talk about every day. We just focus on computers and technology and helping out when things go wrong. It’s a steady job in a fast city, and we are just trying to keep up with everything like everyone else is.
