Our office for Delcam Software India Pvt Ltd is at Indira Nagar 77. It’s a nice part of town, though finding a parking spot can be a real pain some days because of all the cafes. We’ve been here for a good while. The office is basically just a big room with a lot of computers and some old chairs. We work on software, which means a lot of quiet hours spent typing and looking for errors in the code. We aren't a big company with thousands of employees. It's just a small group of us who actually know what we’re doing. We don't have a fancy break room, just a corner with a fridge and a microwave where we heat up our lunch every day. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around and talk until the backup kicks in. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place to be. We don't do big launches or have huge parties with music. We just finish our work and go home to our lives. People who work here usually stay for a long time because it’s a relaxed environment. There isn't anyone breathing down your neck as long as the work gets done on time. We handle our own stuff and help each other out when someone gets stuck on a tricky problem. It’s practical, honest work and we’re quite content with that. We don't need anything more than a quiet space to work.
