The office is tucked away on Jayanagar C S T Road, right by Pipe Line 362/12/1. If you are looking for Deepti & Anant Swami Architects, you just have to find that specific stretch where the pipeline runs. It is not the quietest place in the world because of the road traffic, but we have gotten used to the noise over the years. Deepti usually sits by the window where the light is better for drawing, and Anant is usually on the phone or looking at some old blueprints on the big table. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of folders and samples of materials lying around everywhere. We don't really have a receptionist or anything like that, so if the bell rings, whoever is closest just goes to open the door. Most days we are just drinking coffee and trying to figure out how to make a small kitchen look bigger or something like that. It is a simple place with white walls that probably need a fresh coat of paint soon. We spend a lot of time here, sometimes late into the evening when the street gets a bit quieter. There isn't any big sign outside, just the address and our names. We like it this way because it feels more like a workspace than a showroom. It’s just how we do things here with the tools we have available.
