You can find us at 4 Nagarbhavi Sector-24D, right near the BDA Complex. Deepa Solar Lighting Systems has been part of this neighborhood for quite some time. Being near the complex means there’s always something going on nearby. Our shop is pretty straightforward. We have the lights on display, and the back is where the real work happens. It’s a lot of soldering and checking connections. Sometimes the power goes out, and we find it funny because we’re surrounded by solar lights that still work. The floor is concrete and has a few stains from years of work. We don’t have any fancy signs or big posters. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just walking past. We have a couple of chairs for visitors, but they usually end up standing and looking at the gear. The morning starts with opening the shutters and sweeping the front. We have a small radio that plays local songs while we work. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, but we stay busy. We don’t really do sales pitches. If someone needs a light for their garden or their street, we show them what we have and tell them how long it lasts. It’s honest work. We know the postman and the street vendors by name. That’s the kind of place this is. Just a local business in Nagarbhavi trying to keep the lights on for everyone.
