Deco Aro

Deco Aro is located in Devatha Plaza, which is at B8. We are right near Bishop Cotton Boys High School on Residency Road. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history around it. The school kids are always around, and the traffic on Residency Road is something we have to deal with every single day. Our shop is inside the plaza, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the pavement. We have various things for the home, mostly decorative bits and pieces that people like to pick up for their houses. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful about how much we bring in at one time. We spend our mornings dusting the shelves and getting everything ready for the day. Sometimes the light inside the plaza isn’t the best, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. People who know the area well usually find us without any issues. Residency Road is always changing, but Devatha Plaza stays pretty much the same. We like the familiar feel of this neighborhood. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, just a place where you can find something nice for a shelf or a table. It’s just a regular daily routine for us here. We open up in the morning, talk to the regulars, and handle the stock. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, but it works for what we do here.
