Our office is out at the Jakkur Aerodrome on Bellary Road. It’s a bit different from your usual city office building since it’s right there at the airfield. We are part of Deccan Chartetra Ltd., Bangalore. Being at the aerodrome means we see a lot of small planes and flight activity all day long. It’s a big open space compared to the crowded and dusty parts of central Bangalore. The address is in the Bangalore 64 area of Karnataka. We spend our time managing the flights and the maintenance schedules from our desks. It’s a practical workspace, mostly focused on getting things ready for when they need to be up in the air. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big reception area for guests. It’s more of a working hangar and office mix where everyone knows their job. The commute out here on Bellary Road can be a bit of a trek depending on the time of day and the traffic flow. But once you’re here, it’s a pretty interesting place to spend your working hours. We just focus on the logistics and making sure every detail is where it should be. It’s a lot of coordination and keeping track of various bits and pieces that others might overlook. We’ve been here for quite a while now and the routine is pretty set. It’s just how we do things at Jakkur. We don't need any flashiness to get the planes moving and the work finished on time.
