Our place is called Ashraya, located at number 42 on the 4th A Cross in Rajshree Layout. It is tucked away in Munnekolela, right near the Marathahalli area. Being in this specific part of Bangalore means we have to deal with a lot of traffic every single day, but it is a good spot for a logistics business. Deccan Cargo has been operating from this office for a while now. It is not a massive warehouse with hundreds of trucks, just a busy office where we coordinate all the shipping and express deliveries. There are always vehicles moving somewhere, and we spend most of our time on the phone trying to track them down or giving directions. It involves a lot of shouting over the noise sometimes and making sure the paperwork matches the loads being moved. The office is a bit cluttered with big logbooks, old maps, and clipboards. We have a small team here, and every one of us knows how to do a bit of everything. If a driver is running late, we are the ones who have to hear about it first. It can be a stressful job, but we have gotten used to the pace. We do not have any fancy mission statements on the wall, just a simple calendar and a clock that is usually five minutes fast. We just try to keep things moving as best as we can.
