David Slim

You can find David Slim on the second floor of the Hameed Shah Complex. We are at 25-B on the Cubbonpet Main Road, right where Aranyeshwar Road starts. It’s a very busy intersection near Corporation Circle, so there’s always something happening outside. We are also situated just behind the Ulsoor Gate Police Station. The Hameed Shah Complex is an older building with a lot of history. The stairs to the second floor are a bit worn down, but they’ve held up through the years. Our office is a bit of a tight fit because we have so many files and pieces of equipment. We’ve been here for a long time and we’ve seen the streets outside change quite a bit. The traffic around the circle is almost constant, and the sound of horns is something we’ve just learned to ignore. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. It’s mostly just calendars and notes pinned up everywhere. We work hard throughout the day, often staying late to finish up. Being in such a central location means we are right in the middle of everything, which is convenient even if it is noisy. David Slim is just a small operation in a big complex. We keep our heads down and do our work. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but it’s a real place with real people working inside every single day.
