I started this shop in Jayanagar 6th block a while back. It is a small place tucked away in Yediyur. Most days, I am sitting behind the counter surrounded by opened-up CPU cabinets and messy wires. People walk in with laptops that have spilled coffee on them or desktops that just will not boot up anymore. It is usually pretty quiet inside, except for the hum of the cooling fans we have running to keep things from overheating. I spend most of my time looking at screens or trying to find a specific spare part that is tucked away in a drawer somewhere. It isn't a fancy showroom with shiny displays. We have shelves with old monitors and boxes of keyboards stacked up in the corners. Sometimes the internet acts up and we just have to wait it out like everyone else in the neighborhood. Neighbors often drop by just to ask a quick question about their phones or why their home Wi-Fi is so slow. Jayanagar is a busy area, so there is always someone coming through the door with a problem. We do not have a big team or anything, just a couple of us who know our way around a motherboard. Most of the work is repetitive, like installing software or cleaning out dust from inside a fan, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. It is just a regular local shop where we try to get things working again for the folks who live nearby. (246 words)
