We run Datashrubs Solutions Private Limited out of a place called Shree Hari Nilaya. It’s No. 14 on the 6th Main in Dwaraka Nagar. If you know Chikkabanavara, you know it’s a bit of a trek from the main Bangalore city center, but we like it that way. The address is actually C/O B.P. Laxman. It’s more of a residential neighborhood vibe than a cold business park. We have our setup there in the 560090 area. It’s quiet enough that you can actually hear yourself think, which helps when you’re staring at code or spreadsheets all day. We don't have a big HR department or a cafeteria. Usually, we just order something in or bring food from home. The 6th Main road isn’t very wide, and you’ll see cows or kids playing nearby sometimes. It’s an honest place to work. We don't try to look like a Silicon Valley startup with bean bags and ping-pong tables. We just have our chairs and our monitors. Being in Chikkabanavara means we avoid the worst of the downtown traffic, though it still takes time to get anywhere in Bangalore. We’ve been here for a bit now, and the routine is pretty set. We get in, check what needs doing, and stay until the work is finished. It’s a simple, straightforward operation at Datashrubs. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and getting the lists cleared off. Nothing more to it really.
