We run Darshak Dish Net Work And Tours And Travels from Cottonpet. We are tucked away on G B Lane, off the 1st Cross. If you know Cottonpet, you know the lanes are narrow and always crowded with people and carts. It’s a lively place to work. We do two things here: we help people get their satellite TV set up and we also book tours and travels. It’s an odd mix, maybe, but it keeps us busy. One minute I’m talking about dish signals and the next I’m looking at bus schedules for someone wanting to go to the coast. The shop is small and full of wires, remote controls, and travel brochures. It’s not very organized, but I know where everything is. My family has been in this area for a long time. We get a lot of regulars who just drop in to pay their bills or ask about a trip. We don't have a website or anything like that; people usually just find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. The noise from the main road always filters in, but you stop noticing it after a few years. It’s just a simple local business. We work hard, we take care of the customers who come in, and we close up when the day is done. It's nothing fancy, just a way to make a living and help the folks around here with what they need.
