Cyber Tek

Cyber Tek is situated in Yelahanka, right across the road from Seshadripuram College. Being opposite a college means we see a lot of students every single day. The shop is usually full of the sound of printers running or people talking about their assignments. We have been in this part of Bangalore 560064 for a good bit of time now. The place is simple, with rows of computers and a lot of tangled wires behind the desks that we try to keep out of sight. It is not a high-end lounge; it is a place where people come to get their work done, print out notes, or use the internet. The air conditioning works most of the time, but when the shop is full of people, it can get a bit warm. We spend a lot of our time helping people who cannot get the printer to work or who forgot their passwords. It is a steady flow of work that keeps us on our toes from morning till evening. We know the rhythms of the college schedule, so we know exactly when the big rush is going to happen. Outside, the Yelahanka traffic is always a bit of a mess, but inside, we just keep the screens glowing and the papers moving. It is a basic, functional space for the neighborhood and the students.
