We are located at 82B in the 1st Phase of Electronic City. Being out here means a long commute for most of us, but it’s where all the tech action is. Customised Technologies Pvt Ltd is one of many companies in this area. Our building is pretty functional. We have a lot of floor space dedicated to testing and assembly, not just software. There’s always someone soldering something or measuring parts in the back. It’s a bit of a mix between an office and a workshop. We have benches covered in components and wires. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. Most of us are in jeans and t-shirts because we’re often crawling under desks or moving equipment around. The atmosphere is pretty focused. We don't have many distractions out here, which is probably for the best. We have a small canteen area where we eat together. The conversation is usually about some technical problem we’re trying to solve or the traffic on the way in. We’ve been here long enough to see the area change a lot. New buildings are always going up around us. We just keep doing our thing, building and customizing tech for our clients. It’s hard work and the days can be long, but we’re a good team and we get the job done without much complaining. We just try to keep the equipment running and the code clean.
