You’ll find us at 82-B in Electronic City. It’s a big area with lots of buildings that all look the same, but we’ve made our corner feel like home over the years. We spend a lot of time at our benches with wires, boards, and various bits of hardware. It’s a tech place, but it’s not particularly glamorous. There are usually stacks of components waiting to be sorted and a few projects halfway finished on the tables. We focus on building things that actually work for specific needs. It involves a lot of trial and error and sitting in front of screens until the code or the hardware behaves. Most of us have been working here long enough that we don’t need to talk much to know what needs doing next. The coffee machine is probably the hardest working piece of equipment in the building. We aren't interested in the latest trends or corporate buzzwords. We just like making things function properly. Electronic City can be a bit of a commute, but once we’re inside the gates, it’s just us and the machines. Sometimes the air conditioning is too cold, and other times it’s too loud with the sound of fans humming. It’s a practical environment for people who like to get their hands into the guts of technology and see what happens. We just keep our heads down and finish the tasks on the list.
