Customer Service Agent

Our workplace is located at 411 B Block, 1st Cross, 4th Main in Vinayak Nagar, Bangalore. This is where we work as customer service agents. Our day is basically spent wearing headsets and talking to people who have questions or problems that need solving. It can be a bit repetitive, hearing the same types of things over and over, but we try to stay patient. The office is full of rows of desks and the constant hum of voices. Vinayak Nagar is a busy area, and there’s always somewhere to grab a quick snack during our breaks. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff we need to do our jobs. Sometimes the phone lines get a bit fuzzy, or the computer system takes a moment to load, and we have to explain that to the person on the other end. It’s a straightforward kind of life. We help out where we can and try to keep things calm. After a long shift of talking, most of us just want some quiet. We aren't trying to sell anyone anything they don't need; we are just there to answer the phone when it rings and help them through whatever is going on. It’s a job that requires a lot of listening and typing at the same time. We just show up, do our hours, and head home through the Bangalore traffic like everyone else at the end of the day.
