Crystal Crop Sciences is located at 151/2 Homic Estate in Basavanagudi. Even though the name sounds a bit formal, we are just a group of people working out of an office in a nice part of Bangalore. Basavanagudi has that old-city feel that we really like. Our office is in Homic Estate, and it’s a pretty straightforward place. We deal with agricultural products and science, so there is a lot of talk about crops and seasons. We aren't a big flashy company with a glass building. It’s more about desks, computers, and a lot of files. We spend our time coordinating with people in the fields and making sure the supplies get where they need to go. The coffee machine breaks down sometimes, and the files get piled up on the desks, but we keep things moving. We don't have a big PR team writing fancy stories for us. We just focus on the science and the business of crops. It is a lot of phone calls and paperwork. Most people who visit us are partners or people we’ve known in the industry for years. We keep a regular schedule and try to stay on top of the changing weather and how it affects the crops. It’s honest work in a good neighborhood, and we've been at it for some time now. We just handle the business day by day.
