Creative Infotech

Creative Infotech is located at 47 Dickenson Road. This is a pretty central part of the city, so we get all kinds of people coming through. The shop itself is simple. We don't have any of those big fancy displays. It’s mostly just shelves with computer parts and a few workbenches in the back where the real work happens. I’ve been here long enough to remember when the street was much quieter. Now, it’s a constant stream of cars and people. We focus on getting computers back up and running. Whether it’s a software issue or something inside the machine that burned out, we take a look at it. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but there is something satisfying about hearing a machine beep back to life after it's been dead for a week. We don't promise miracles, just a fair effort to fix what’s broken. The air inside always has that slightly burnt smell of electronics and dust, which I’ve grown to like. We keep our own hours and don't worry too much about the corporate way of doing things. If someone comes in with a problem, we talk to them like neighbors. Dickenson Road is a good place for us because it’s easy for people to reach from different parts of town. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes across the counter every morning. It might be a small place, but it keeps us very busy.
