The gallery is located in BTM Layout at C/14. It is a quiet spot compared to the main roads nearby. We have a lot of different things on the walls, mostly frames and some prints that people bring in. The smell of wood glue and cut boards is usually pretty strong because we do a lot of the work right here in the back. There are scraps of paper and bits of mount board on the floor sometimes when we are in the middle of a project. We have a large table where we lay everything out to measure it. The lighting is just some spots we put up to show the work better. It is not a huge gallery, so you have to walk carefully so you don't bump into anything. We get a mix of people coming in, some just looking and others wanting something specific done for their homes. The window at the front gets a lot of sun in the afternoon, which makes the dust motes dance in the air. We keep a ledger on the desk to write down the orders and the phone numbers of customers. It is a slow-paced kind of place where you can take your time looking at things. We’ve been at this C/14 address for a bit now and most of the neighbors know us. It’s a simple business and we just do our work day by day. Sometimes we have tea in the afternoon while waiting for the glue to dry on a frame.
