Coveten Technologies is based in Shop No 10, located at 44, 11th Cross in NRI Layout. It’s out in Kalkere Village in Bangalore North. It’s a bit quieter out here compared to the city center, which we actually prefer. Our space is basically a converted shop, so it’s very practical and close to the street. You can hear the scooters going by and the local vendors calling out. We don't have any fancy receptionists or glass-walled conference rooms. It’s just a room with some sturdy tables and our computers. We started this because we wanted to work on our own terms. Most days, we just wear casual clothes and drink a lot of tea while we talk through our plans. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to be known as the folks who just get their work finished. Sometimes the neighbors pop their heads in to say hello. It feels more like a community than a business district. We handle our own chores, like sweeping the floor or fixing the lights when they flicker. It’s a very hands-on way of working. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people on the street. It’s a simple life, and we are quite happy with how things are going for us in this corner of Bangalore.
