Country Club

We are located over at the HAL Central Township in Marathalli, Bangalore. Our office is actually inside the township area, which you can find by looking for GBJ 143. We are working under the care of Girish Kumar here. It is a bit different being inside the HAL area because it is very gated and has a lot of security and rules about who comes in and out. The surroundings are very peaceful with lots of big trees and open spaces, which you don't always get in the rest of Bangalore. People often come to us to ask about memberships or to see what events are going on. We spend a lot of our time answering the phone and writing down names in our registers. It is not a very modern setup; we have some older furniture and a lot of paper forms that people need to fill out. Sometimes it takes a while to explain to visitors how to get past the main gates if they aren't used to the township layout. We just try to be helpful and give them the right directions. The air is a bit cleaner here than out on the main Marathalli road, so that is a plus for us. We just keep the office open and wait for members to drop by with their questions or to pay their dues. It’s a slow and steady kind of day for us. There are some days when nobody comes by at all, but we still sit here.
