The Chinnaya Building is a familiar landmark for those of us living in T.Dasarahalli. Being at 39/2, we're right at the junction of 1st Cross and 3rd Main. It’s a busy spot in the B.H.E.L Mini Colony area of Bangalore. The traffic on Pipe Line Road can get pretty backed up in the mornings, so most of us try to get in early or take the back roads. Our office for Country Club India Pvt Ltd is on a floor that gets quite a bit of dust from the road. We’re always cleaning the windows to keep things looking decent. It’s a practical space. We have some posters of our clubs on the walls, but they’re a bit old and faded now. The reception area has a few sofas where people wait, usually scrolling on their phones or reading old magazines. We have a small staff of local people who handle the bookings and the member questions. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters. We have some leaky pens and a printer that jams if you put too much paper in it. It’s just a normal office where we do the daily tasks. We know the shopkeepers nearby and often grab a quick coffee from the stall on the corner during our afternoon break. It’s a decent place to spend the day with good people. We usually lock up around six and head through the busy evening traffic home.
