Counter Staff

You can find us over at 16/1 1st Cross, right by O.P.M on Mysore Road in Bangalore. Being on the counter means you see a lot of different people throughout the day. It’s a busy spot because Mysore Road always has something going on. The office itself is quite simple. We have a long counter where we talk to customers and a few desks in the back for the paperwork. It can get a bit dusty because of the road construction and the heavy trucks passing by, so we are always wiping things down. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just what we need to process orders and answer questions. The days can feel long when you are standing or sitting in the same spot, but the people who come in usually have some interesting stories to tell. We try to keep things moving so no one has to wait too long in the heat. Sometimes we run out of change or the receipt printer jams, but we just fix it and keep going. It is a very hands-on kind of job. We don't use big words or have complicated meetings. We just focus on the person standing in front of us and try to help them out. That is how we have always done it here at 560018, and it seems to work out okay for everyone.
