Costa Cruiseline

Our office is tucked away in Halasuru at House Number 16. It’s a bit of an old area in Bangalore, very different from the shiny new parts of the city. We spend most of our time on the phones or handling paperwork for trips. It’s funny being in a landlocked city like this but talking about ships and the ocean all day long. The building is just a regular house turned into a workspace. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of files piled up on the desks. We have a small team here and we’ve known each other for a long time. There is a lot of back and forth with the main offices. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, which happens a lot in Bangalore. We just wait it out and grab some coffee from the place down the street. It’s not a big corporate glass building or anything. Just a quiet spot in Halasuru where the work gets done. We don’t have fancy uniforms in this office. Most of the time, we’re just trying to make sure the bookings are right so nobody gets stuck at a port somewhere far away. It’s steady work and we like the neighborhood. People stop by sometimes to ask for directions because the house numbers around here are confusing. We just point them the right way and get back to our desks. It is what it is.
