We are over on 4th A Main Road in Govindarajanagar, which is part of the Vijayanagar area in Bangalore. Our business name is Confidential and we are based at number 90. It’s a classic Bangalore neighborhood. You have the trees lining the streets and then the sudden roar of a scooter going by. We cover the 3rd and 4th floors of the building. We’ve been in this spot for a bit, and it feels like a second home to most of the staff. We don’t have an elevator that works all the time, so we get our daily exercise climbing the stairs. The office itself is pretty basic. We have windows that look out over the rooftops of other houses and shops. It’s a nice view when you need a break from looking at a screen. We aren’t a big company with hundreds of employees. We are just a small group of people trying to make things work. The atmosphere at Confidential is pretty relaxed. We don’t have big meetings or long presentations. Usually, we just talk across the desks if something needs to be fixed. It gets a bit noisy in the afternoons when the school nearby lets out, but we’ve gotten used to it. Vijayanagar is a busy place, but our little corner of Govindarajanagar feels like its own world. We just show up every day, do what needs to be done, and try to avoid the worst of the Bangalore traffic on the way home.
