Confident Cascade Resort

We are located in a place called Karthikrishna, which is in the Athiyadam area of Payangadi. It’s a part of Kannur in Kerala, so there is plenty of greenery all around us. The resort is spread out, and we spend a lot of our time walking between the different buildings and the guest rooms. It’s a very local feel here. Most of us who work here live nearby in Payangadi or the surrounding villages. We don't have a big corporate office; instead, we have a small desk near the entrance where we greet people who have traveled to see this part of Kerala. The weather can be quite humid, so we are always checking on the fans and the gardens. We have a lot of plants to water and paths to sweep every morning. It’s a lot of physical work to keep a resort looking decent in this climate. People come here to get away from the noise of the city, so we try to keep things calm. We don't have loud music or big flashy signs. It’s just a place with some rooms and some nice views of the Kerala landscape. Sometimes the monkeys come around and we have to make sure they don't get into the guests' things. It’s just a normal day for us, managing the property and making sure the kitchen has enough supplies for the week.
