Being based in Bangalore means we spend a fair amount of time talking about the weather and the traffic, which I guess is the same for everyone around here. Our office, Confidendial, is right in the middle of all that activity. We aren’t one of those massive tech giants with a campus that looks like a park. Instead, we have a modest space where the real work happens every single day. The team is small, and we mostly just keep our heads down and stay busy. It can get pretty noisy outside with the horns and the general city sounds, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards and the occasional phone ringing. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write polished speeches for us. We just write things down as they are. It’s a practical way to run a business. We’ve had some good years and some tough ones, but we’re still here in Karnataka, doing what we do. Sometimes we order lunch together from the place across the street when we have a big project to finish. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s a living. We try to be reliable and just handle our business without making a big scene about it. Most days go by pretty fast because there is always something to keep us occupied. We like the pace of Bangalore life even if it gets a bit much sometimes.
