Computronix

Being on SP Road is always an experience. Our shop, Computronix, is located at No 10 on the 3rd Cross Road. If you know Bangalore, you know how crowded this area gets. We are quite close to Town Hall, which is the main landmark everyone uses to find their way around here. Every morning, the shutters go up and the whole street starts buzzing with people looking for cables, parts, and gadgets. It is a narrow road, so it can get a bit cramped inside the shop when a few people are standing around. We have shelves filled with different components and bits of hardware that we deal with daily. The noise from the main road carries all the way in, but it is just the way things are in this part of town. Sometimes it feels like the whole city is trying to squeeze into these few streets near SP Road. We spend a lot of time testing things or helping people find a specific part they have been searching for all over. There isn't much space for sitting around, so we are usually on our feet. Lunch usually comes from one of the small places nearby, eaten quickly before the next person walks in. It is a very practical kind of place. No frills, just a lot of work and a lot of electronics everywhere you look. Being near the Town Hall means there is never a quiet moment, but we like the energy.
