Computer Operator

You can find us at No: 78 on the 1st Main Road, tucked into the 2nd Cross of Damlour Layout. It’s a regular residential neighborhood, so it’s mostly houses and a few small shops like ours. We have a small room here with a couple of computers and a printer that’s seen a lot of use. People from around the layout come in when they need something typed up or a document scanned. It’s not a corporate office with cubicles; it’s just a simple workspace. The walls are covered with a few old calendars and some notes we’ve scribbled for ourselves. The desk is usually a bit cluttered with papers and flash drives. We have a couple of plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait for their printing to finish. The overhead light is a bit bright, but it helps us see the small print on the forms we have to fill out. Sometimes the internet connection gets a bit slow, and we have to restart the router, which can be annoying when we’re in a hurry. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening sun starts to fade. It’s a quiet life, mostly just us and the sound of the keyboard clicking away. We’ve been here for a while and know most of the neighbors who pass by our door every day. We don't have a sign, just the number 78 on the gate. It works for us.
