Computer Operator

This is just a small ground-floor shop in Vijayanagar. Being right across from Hasahally Park is the best part, especially in the evenings when it gets cooler. Vinaya and Vikas handle most of the work here. We have a couple of computers that have seen better days but they still work fine. People come to us for all sorts of typing and data entry jobs. We do some scanning and printing too. The 9th Main is a busy road, so we get a lot of people just walking in to ask for help. It’s not a big corporate office, just a small space with some plastic chairs for customers. We have cables running along the floor and some stacks of paper on the desks. We try to keep it organized but it's hard when it gets busy. We don't have any staff besides us. It’s just a local business we started to help out the people around here. We’ve been at number 390 for a good while now. We know most of the shop owners on this block. Sometimes we have to work late to finish a big project, and you can hear the park noise quiet down. It’s simple work but we like being our own bosses. We don't have any big plans, just keeping the shop running day to day. We sometimes have to deal with power cuts, but we have a small battery backup for the main computer so we don't lose the work we're doing. We just try our best.
