Computer Faculty

This is where we teach folks about computers over in Ms - Office Mandal. It’s a quiet enough place in the 517277 area. We mostly focus on showing people how to use the basic software they need for jobs or school. We have a few rows of desks with old monitors that hum a bit when they've been on too long. It’s not a high-tech lab, just a room where you can learn. Sometimes the students are teenagers, and sometimes they’re older folks trying to figure out how to send an email. We try to be patient because we know technology can be a headache. The office isn't very big, so it gets warm in the afternoons. We usually leave the door open for a breeze. Most of us here at Computer Faculty have been working with computers since the early days. We don't use big words or try to confuse anyone. It’s just about getting the work done. If you need to learn how to type or use a spreadsheet, we’re the ones to talk to. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. People in the Mandal know where to find us. It’s a simple setup, nothing fancy. We just like helping people get comfortable with a mouse and keyboard. It's rewarding to see someone finally get it. We take our breaks together and talk about local news while the students practice their lessons in the next room.
