If you’re looking for Compete, we’re over in Basaveshwara Nagar. We are at number 465, right near the big water tank. Most people use the tank as a landmark because the streets here can be a bit of a maze. We are situated on the 5th Cross, just off 5th Main near Mysore Road. It is a pretty busy spot, especially with the traffic coming off the main road. Our building at 465 is a practical space. It is where we handle all our daily operations. We do not have any flashy signs or anything that looks like a corporate headquarters. It’s just a solid, functional office where we get our hands dirty. The area around the water tank is always active, and we like being part of that energy in Basaveshwara Nagar. We have got a couple of old desks and chairs that have been with us since we started. The morning starts with opening the shutters and letting some air into the place. Throughout the day, we are busy with whatever comes across our desks. There is no mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just know what we have to do and we get on with it. Sometimes we grab lunch from the small shops nearby and chat with the other locals. It is a grounded, everyday kind of existence here at number 465, and it suits us just fine.
