Down on MES Road in Jalahalli, you’ll find us in the Jai Shankar Building at P 54. It’s a sturdy old building that’s seen a lot of years. Our office is where all the secretarial stuff happens for the manager. It’s full of filing cabinets, old folders, and a couple of computers that sometimes take forever to start up. Bangalore traffic is a nightmare around here, so we usually hear the honking from the street all day long. We aren't some high-rise corporate office with glass walls. We’re just a small team working in a regular room with a lot of paperwork to get through. Most of our morning is spent answering the phone and sorting out schedules. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a small kettle in the corner for tea. The boss is usually busy, so we keep things running as best as we can. We’ve got a window that looks out onto the road, which is nice when we need a break from the screen. People come in and out with documents all the time. It’s a very practical sort of place. We don't use big words or pretend to be more than we are. We just do the job, keep the records straight, and head home when the sun goes down. It's a simple routine and it works for us. We just make sure the files are organized for the manager.
